Dark Chocolate Cherry Breakfast Smoothie

Dark Chocolate Cherry Breakfast Smoothie

NEW Smoothie recipe! Dark chocolate cherry! Even though it is wintertime, I am still on my smoothie game. It is one of my favorite breakfasts. They always hit the spot, keeps me super full and tastes like ice cream 🙂 This is a new flavor combo that I have really enjoyed making.

Here is what you need:

  • Milk - Almond milk, regular milk, cashew milk - whatever you love.
  • Frozen Cherries
  • Banana - Frozen or Fresh
  • Chocolate Protein Powder
  • Chia Seeds - for fiber and healthy fat
  • Peanut Butter - all natural! Almond works here too.
  • Ice - this is how I get my smoothies to be super cold and thick!
  • Toppings - granola, dark chocolate, and drizzled peanut butter

This recipe makes one large smoothie. I fill a 12oz mason jar and usually have a bit left in the blender for a top-up. Double the recipe if you want to make a smoothie for  2 people. This can also be made into a smoothie bowl too.
