Hello Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites - but make it FESTIVE! Just in time for December 🙂 The holidays are all about TREATS! I love making homemade goodies to enjoy during this time. Especially when they are this easy and delicious. I am a die-hard peanut butter chocolate kinda gal and when all the Halloween candy ran out, I had to make something like these bites! I also wanted to make them holiday-themed of course! They are made with simple ingredients like Inspired Organics creamy peanut butter (it's the BEST!), maple syrup, and coconut oil. Inspired Organics has been my long-time go-to for baking staples and pantry staples.Â
You can check out their full product line here and store locator here.Â
For these festive chocolate peanut butter bites you need:Â
- Creamy Peanut Butter (I used Inspired Organics)
- Maple Syrup (I used Inspired Organics)
- Vanilla Extract
- Cocoa Powder (not cacao powder - big difference)
- Chocolate Chips
- Coconut Oil (I used Inspired Organics)
- Festive SprinklesÂ
Enjoy and happy holidays to all 🙂
In a mixing bowl combine creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract. Mix well until consistent.
Add in cocoa powder and mix again well.
Roll into 8-10 small balls (about 1-1.5 inches) and lay on a plate or cookie sheet.
Place balls in the freezer for 1 hour.
Make the chocolate coating/drizzle when the balls are frozen. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil on medium in the microwave. Should take about 1-2 minutes with mixing in between.
Remove balls from freezer and coat / drizzle with the chocolate sauce. Add sprinkles on top and place back in freezer for another 30 mins to an hour.
Store in freezer! Enjoy!
