I like to keep skincare simple, with good quality products and a routine that only has minimal steps. A few minutes in the morning and a few minutes at night is all I really have time for. A few times a week I do like to do some extra things like masks, gua sha, and exfoliating. But nothing too crazy! Personally, I am a believer that basics are best and as long as I moisturize and cleanse consistently – I feel good.
I use a variety of different products from a number of different skincare brands. For most parts, the products I like are on the cleaner and more natural side. I’ve worked on making this switch over the past couple of years as I’ve grown to care more about what I put in AND on my body. Not every product is perfectly “clean”, but I do what I can. I also like to make sure they work well with my skin and I enjoy using them! All we can do is try our best. This list of skincare favorites, however, is populated by the products I really love, use all the time, and happily recommend to you!
Now, a brief breakdown of my routine: in the morning, I always cleanse, hydrate (with oil or moisturizer), and apply SPF (if I’m going outside, especially in the summer). Sometimes to my morning routine I add a toner after cleansing, use a brightening eye cream or massage with my jade roller/gua sha. In the evening, I always cleanse and use a night cream or serum. Sometimes I also exfoliate or do a face mask for a little extra deep clean or added hydration.

The ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 is a major 2 in 1. It moisturizes and provides glowy coverage!
bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is a tinted hydrating gel cream with SPF 30.
The Wander Beauty Nude Illusion Liquid Foundation is a super light foundation that does not feel cakey. I use the light-medium shade.
SPF & Sun Protection
The Supergoop! Everyday Play Lotion SPF 50 is perfect for facem and body. All their suncreen products are awesome and very protective.
cocokind’s Daily SPF is lightweight SPF cream that I started using this past summer. I love it for everyday.
Facial Oils
The Farmacy Honey Grail Hydrating Face Oil Moisturizer is a thicker oil that makes me super glowy and keeps me hydrated all day long! Love using it under a tinted moisturizer too.
cocokind’s Organic Chia Facial Oil is my OG fave facial oil. I have used this for years and years and I love the way it feels on my skin.
cocokind’s Vitamin C Serum is made with a blend of vitamin C, sea grape caviar, and hyaluronic acid. You can add this before a moisturizer.
Detroit Rose’s Aphrodite Face Oil is a velvety dream! I love using this! It also smells amazing and is a Detroit local brand.
Wander Beauty’s Glow Ahead Face Oil is amazing when I want to get my major glow on! Their illuminating oil is also amazing.
Eye Cream
The Farmacy Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream helps brighten under the eye and wakes me up!
The Good Molecules Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches are great for when you wake up after a bad sleep and just need that boost! They also feel amazing and refreshing.
Night Products
The Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Hydrating Night Serum is my absolute face night time product. I use it 2-3 times a week. It stings in a good way and makes me feel so refreshed and glowy in the morning. I am absolutely obsessed.
cocokind’s Resurfacing Sleep Mask uses is another fave night mask. Feels amazing and resfreshing.
The Wander Beauty Staycation Hydrating Mask is a 3 in one product! You can use it as a regular moisturizer, night cream, or mask. Just depends on how much you use. Its a gel texture and feels amazing.
Makeup Removers
Bioderma Micellar Water cleanses and removes makeup without the hassle. I just put some on a pad and wipe it off. Doesn’t make my contacts blurry or anything!
The Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm is such a cool makeup remover. You just rub your eyes,face with the balm and then wash it off with a cloth. It feels kinda magical!
